Kër Adja is a nice accommodation located in downtown Ziguinchor. We offer same services than hotels in a very warm, quiet and friendly environment.

We welcome you in a two-story building, with four nicely decorated rooms with TV, AC and fans, two kitchens, a living room, and a nice garden. You will benefit from a professional and friendly service at all times. We pledge to make you feel at home.

Djibelor Visit a farm. Morning or Afternoon

Djibelor is a charming little village 12 km west of Ziguinchor.You can visit the famous crocodile farm, but also the real estate project initiated by the owner, with original mud buildings made of banco (clay) and recycled tires. You can also learn more about local agriculture at the local Institute of Agricultural Research

Oussouye- Edioungou, arts and spirituality: one day

A fascinating immersion in the heart of the Diola culture. An opportunity to discover the kingdom of Oussouye, its secular institutions, its spirituality. We will then take you to Edioungou to see the women potters at work, not only to discover a traditional art, but to question themes related to women through their work.

M'lomp-Elinkine - Carabane: one day

Elinkine is an important fishing village, accessible by road from Ziguinchor by road (about 1h15 mn) the Casamance River from Ziguinchor.
We also offer private pirogue by request. From Elinkine you can visit the island of Carabane and small islands around.

A picnic in Kantene: one day

You can visit our farm (Kër Adja is a community-based enterprise) and explore the border area between Senegal and Guinea Bissau.

Sailing the Casamance River (Djilapao - Ile aux oiseaux Visite de la case à étage) : morning or afternoon

Going down the Casamance River on local boat called pirogue is a fascinating adventure in so many ways. You can discover the prophetic vision described by French writer Andre Malraux, and understand why this river is like no other. Discover the sea life and birds through the labyrinths that we call “bolongs”, make a stop at the animist village of Djilapao to visit an original museum called the “artist’s hut”.

bicycle ride around Ziguinchor: Morning or afternoon

Enjoy with a member of our team a little ride around Ziguinchor. Visit the typical neighborhoods, meet wonderful people and engage with see city from a different perspective. Don’t worry about the pace of the speed, we are certainly not as athletic as you are!
